The short version. FC Pro helps a coach run their team. We collect only what that needs, we keep it in Australia where we can, we never sell it or use it for advertising, and you can ask us to see, fix or delete it at any time.

Who we are

FC Pro (Field Coach) is a coaching app made in Geelong, Victoria. “We” means the FC Pro team. You can reach us with the form at the bottom of this page.

What we collect

The reply link doesn’t ask for a parent’s name, email or phone number. It shows only first names, surname initials and shirt numbers, so a family can pick their child.

Children

Many players are under 18. Their details are entered by their coach to run the team, and are seen only by that team’s coaches and staff. We don’t contact players directly, don’t build profiles for any purpose other than the team, and don’t show player details publicly. A parent or guardian can ask the coach, or us, to see, correct or remove their child’s details.

Where it’s kept

On the coach’s phone, by default.
In our cloud database in Sydney, Australia (Supabase), if the coach turns on sign-in and the cloud backup. This is also where reply-link answers are stored.
Sign-in emails and your copy of the confidentiality agreement are sent through our email provider (Resend), which handles your email address to deliver the message and may do so outside Australia.
The website and web app are hosted by Netlify. Early-access sign-ups are stored there.

Who can see it

A team’s data is visible only to the coaches and staff of that team. Other FC Pro users can’t see it. A small number of FC Pro staff can see account, team and agreement details, only to run and support the service. We don’t sell personal information, don’t use it for advertising, and don’t share it with clubs, leagues or anyone else unless the coach chooses to share something (for example, sending a lineup to the team group) or the law requires it.

Keeping it safe

Data is encrypted in transit, and each team’s cloud data is locked to that team.
Coaches sign in with a one-time code or link sent to their email, so there are no passwords to steal.
A coach can replace the team’s reply link at any time; the old link then stops working.

How long we keep it

For as long as the team uses FC Pro. A coach can remove players or delete the team at any time. If you ask us to delete information, we’ll do it within 30 days, apart from anything we must keep by law.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or your child’s, using the form below. If you’re not happy with how we handle it, tell us first and we’ll try to fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
